Kurtz Ambulance Service has been a family owned company since incorporation in 1977, originally founded with one ambulance by Karl J. Kurtz, whom today still remains the Vice President of the company.  In the company’s infancy there was originally one ambulance available to assist local area fire departments with their call volume, however today there are more than twenty ambulances servicing three major metropolitan regions and five hospitals.  We have always maintained and deeply ingrained our motto of “the difference is we care” into our culture and everyday operation here at Kurtz Ambulance Service.
